Yesterday Jordan took Renthal to get groomed....well since he's a "WILL BITE" kind of patient, he has to be put under for the vet to give him a trim. We have to stay until they get him relaxed, and then we leave, and then they call for us to go and pick him up a few hours later.
About an hour after Jordan took him up there, the vet called and gave him the news. Renthal's heart had stopped beating before they got to his head and tail. They tried everything.....massaging his heart, etc.
SOOOOOOOOOO.......we are all pretty sad around here. I was crazy and watched all of the videos I have taken of him with my phone over the past couple of years. Bad idea!
This probably won't be the end of Renthal pictures.

I know some people think we're crazy for how much we love our kids, I mean dogs.. like you & Jordan, our pooch is our baby, literally. I know I'm over emtional these days but I sat crying reading your story... especially looking @ the pictures of BEAUTIFUL Renthal. I love you and am hurting with you!!

ReplyDeleteJade, you lost a dog around the same time that I did, and my heart still hurts for him! I know it's so difficult. It's been more than a month, and I'm behind reading blogs myself but I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you.
