It's about time!

I knew that I would be a terrible blogger from the get-go!

But, not a lot has happened in the last several months that was good enough (or bad enough) to blog about!!! Until now! We are MOVING! We bought a house! We will be moving within the next couple of weeks, and we are REALLY excited! We started looking for a house last year, and we really haven't stopped looking since. We found one that we love, and hopefully it will get finished this week. There are still a few minor things that are needing to get finished, but all of the appliances are finally in so the rest shouldn't take them that long!

Other than that, we have just been working a lot. I started a new job back in June, and I love it, but it seems like I am ALWAYS WORKING. And, if we aren't working, we are usually playing golf.

Golf is probably the most frustrating game in the world. I have played in several tournaments over the past couple of months, and NONE of them have been pretty!!!! I guess golf is a lot like life. It's a roller coaster. Some days you're on, and some days you're off. Some days you slide through a round missing all of the tree limbs, water, and sand traps, but other days, it doesn't matter how hard you try, you still end up in a hazard of some sort! It's really all about how you recover. When you hit a cruddy shot, it's the next shot that counts. It's something that I have been working on a lot in golf AND in LIFE. It may not be the most perfect outcome to a situation, but it's what you come back and do next that matters the most.
