And a new year begins.

I have meant to update the blog for a while, but I just haven't had time to sit down and actually do it until now!
We got all moved into our house in December, and everything went pretty smoothly except for the gas leak on New Years Eve. I was actually pretty thankful that all of this happened on New Years Eve because I wanted 2011 to go out with a BANG because I was just ready for 2011 to be OVER!!!! When the guy came to fix it that Saturday, he ended up getting arrested in my front yard 10 minutes after he had been up in our attic!!! On top of the warrants out for his arrest, he was 'smoking' down the road that morning before he came to FIX OUR GAS LEAK! It was pretty crazy.

For Christmas, Jordan got me a puppy! Let's just say that I wanted a female Golden Retriever, and I got a male Chow. His name is Bentley, he's blonde, and he is SO playful and LOVES to be around people which is a little different than how Renthal was. We got him when he was about 8 weeks old, and now he is almost 5 months! I will post some pictures whenever I can.

Also in December, Jordan's dad went to the doctor for the first time in many years because he wasn't feeling good. They did a bunch of tests and 2 biopsies, they told us around New Years that he did have cancer. He had a mass on the base of his tongue, and it was also in his lymph nodes. So, he had surgery to remove the mass.

Then he started radiation last week, and he has to go everyday for 7 weeks. Then, on this Wednesday, he started Chemo on top of that. He had to go Wednesday, Thursday, and today for the first round of Chemo. So, he's been staying here with us, and he's been feeling good so far.

Other than that, we haven't been doing a lot. We have both been working a lot. Jordan really only ends up getting one day off a week here lately, and I have been busy with a big market tour for the past month too (that is finally OVER!)...or so we think!

Aaron also turned TWO this month! And, let me just say.....I LOVE IT THAT HE LOVE's his A'Jade so much. I LOVE that little boy!
